Based in Ashford, Kent

Phil & Jay started off their photography careers in 2000, whilst working in various nightclubs around Kent as DJs and lighting technicians they were asked to take photos during the night for the clubs’ websites, at first this was with basic point and shoot cameras but they both quickly graduated up into the exciting world of DSLR photography.

Over the coming years Phil extended his passion for photography into another of his favourite pastimes – motorsport, whilst Jay refined his skills in studio photography. Over the following years Jay and Phil shared and refined their skills in nightclub, studio and motorsport photography and are now both fully skilled in all areas.

In 2011 Phil & Jay decided to expand the Direct-Fx portfolio and joined together to shoot their first wedding as a team and have since shot numerous weddings in a wide variety of locations from Portsmouth to Cyprus.

Both Phil & Jay use professional Canon DSLRs and lenses and professional Epson printers to ensure their work is of the highest standard.
